    Anyone going to Sebring May 17th to partcipate in SMART Motorsports 'high speed driving event'? I'm going with my brother who's taking his '03 Viper. We're both newbies in this type of event. It looks like a good opportunity to give the Viper some exercise.

    It was puzzling 17th is in the middle of the week.

    The actual date is May 7th!!!!

    In connection with CHIN Motorsports I guess.

    Got the date wrong! It should have registered that wasn't the right date but it didn't. Sorry 'bout that.

    Anyone participate in SAFE Motorsport's events in the past? Do they do OK? Or is there something we need to be aware of going in?

    SAFE and CHIN and PDC are pretty much all the same. They are well organized and participants are very courteous. I was impressed with my first CHIN event a few weeks back. Very nice people. SAFE and PDC are great as well. PDC through their parenting copany NASA now has races if you want to participate in their racing series.

    You should try them all.
    You will find a schedule of events on my website under track dates.
