Hmmm... interesting. Good for you for getting in there and making the fix. One easy option I see is to purchase some long, black heat shrink tubing (Radio Shack carries this, but I don't think it's thick enough). Heat applied to it will cause it to shrink and clamp down. It actually looks pretty good, fairly close to what you have on the other seatbelt connector.
