    Rob,

Just thought i would throw this out as a suggestion, what about having different forum areas for Model specific?? Like for 308s, 328s, 355s, etc..etc... ???

Or have it set up that in that forum, it would aquire all the threads specific to that model that has been posted on F-Chat ??? It probably has that capability, but i haven't found it....

It's doable, just a question whether or not Rob wants to seperate them...

that's easier said than done. it's doable, but it's non-trivial.

consider that it would have to be able to parse a lot of variations of how people represent their cars in text:

    "360 Modena"
    "360"
    "Modena"

    etc...

and if someone was listing all the cars they saw at a show, it'd put a copy into each of those listings?

isn't it easier just to do a search?

    doody.

I think after discussing this for months with the other forum it was decided against it for GFD and Tech. Most users aren't looking for model specific threads necessarily. However, that's why I did suggest everyone use more descriptive titles.
