    1-PETIT LE MANS/NEAR ATLANTA GA
    SEPT 28-OCT 1

Last chance to see the awesome Audi R8. P1 and P2 class, also see the Corvettes, DB9, Saleen S7R, Maserati MC12, Viper, and loads of Porsche GT3 RSRs. These cars race from daylight to night, an awesome sight as they light up the night with fire with each gear shift!

    2-ITALIAN CAR DAY/ATLANTA GA
    OCT 8

Something I have always wanted to do! Great cars and food for all.

    3-EUROFEST/GREENVILLE SC
    OCT 14-16

Check out this event, in our own back yard. The speaker is none other than Lugini Chinetti, Jr. His bio is posted. The rallye should be nice as well.

    4-TARGA 66/SAVANNAH GA
    OCT 21-23

A warm up to the FCA track day! There should be so many very rare and cool cars at this event, as it is Brian Redman's event. If you want to drive your car to this event, I think we can find storage at one of two top drawer Savannah (very near the track) shops if you want to leave it for the FCA track day the following weekend. You shold visit these while you are there. Andy Green has an incriedible shop, and is restoring RM auction's Principle's 275 GTB. The last time I was there he had the engine and gear box completly torn down. The body is being done by JenJacs. Also, visit the Mighty Eight Air Force Museum, as it is at the same exit (the one that goes to the track)

    5-FCA TRACK DAY/SAVANNAH GA
    OCT 28-29

This is something we all have been waiting for. The thread is already here, but to elaborate, there is nothing like flying through the last turn, hitting the straight, and wondering if you're going to make the first turn. If everything seems under controll, you are not driving fast enough!-Mario Andreti

And besides, it gives me an excuss to wear my OMP driving suit out on the town; would that not be funny, if we all wore our driving suits out to the local bars! What a goober.

    6-CONCOURS d' ELEGANCE/ HILTON HEAD ISLAND SC
    NOV 3-6

    http://www.hhiconcours.com/

This event keeps getting better, with Bobby Rahal as Honorary Event Chairman and guest speaker, not to mention the track day on Nov 3rd, and road rallye's. This is a great late year local get away you do not want to miss.

    7-AIKEN EXOTIC CAR FESTIBLE/AIKEN SC
    NOV 11-12

    http://www.seecarr.org/aiken_2005.htm

Again, a local event not to miss! Let's show up in force, as it is local and very first class!

I plan to attend all of these events. Anyone intersted in driving together, let me know! Cheers.

    MAKE IT EIGHT!

    VIR TRACK DAY/DANVILLE VA
    NOV 16

    http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?inviteId=MXFADLRSGAHGZUDTQBOW&li=iq&src=email

This event will be as inexpensive as you make it, that is, it's up to you to get the participation up. The more cars, the less it cost! I drove the South Course, I understand the North is even better! Also, stay at the hotel on the track, it is superior by far to anything in town, and overlooks the track!
Bring your wives or girlfriend (but not both), as they will like the accomadations trackside. Every man needs a victory parade after a hard day at the track!

If that would be the case, then I haven't a reason to e-mail you anymore. I'll just have to wait for a Summit Point one or the FCA one in the Spring.

    Just did the event:

Met Brian Redman, Vic Elford, as they told a few stories during the event and in private with a few friends.

The FoW team was there, two 360 Challenge cars, a BBLM and 355Challenge owned by Richard Liebhaber (IBM/MCI) fame.

    http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/44023.512.BBLM.htm

An original, but fully restored Porsche 906, McLeran, Lotus's, and many other very neat and historic cars.
