    308 = 3.0 liter V8, either carb'd (77-79), injected 2 valve (GTBi/GTSi, 80-82), or injected 4 valve (83-85).

    328 = 3.2 liter V8, 4 valve, 86-89.

    Horsepower ranges from about 205 in the early 308's up to 260 in the 328.

    The 328 has integrated bumpers front and rear, and an updated interior.

    Most would say to avoid the 80-82 cars as they have the lowest horsepower.

    For 308 info go to http://ferrari308.com/

    The 328 is an improved 308. Bigger engine, similar styling, updated interior. 328s picked up an improved suspension in mid 88, and ABS in 89.

    I've driven both a 328 (my almost-daily-driver) and a friend's 308gtsi for a short period of time. The 328 was more planted, better brakes and more powerful, but the 308 had a great feel also. It was just different.

    Don't forget Euro Vs US models where some (or all?) of the Euro's came with dry sumps.

    Thanks guys,as you can probably tell, i'm pretty green!
    I'm not a manic,but i've always had a hard-on for the 308(the Magnum influence...)
    SO...... would a 328GTS be the best choice?
    AND,
    86-88 328 GTS
    86-89 328 GTB
    86-89 GTB Turbo
    86-89 GTS Turbo

    i got this from the models list,are the TURBO's 328's ?
    if they are,how come they're cheaper?
