    three times i read in my numerous books and magazines that 3539 was a GTO.
    do any of you know something about it ?

    3589 is a GTO. The 3539 is probably misprint

    Rather a 250 GT Berlinetta SWB sold to new to Chinetti in 1962.

    To quote Jess Pouret: "In the sixties, the car was totalled and very precious few things were left. Not even enough to identify the parts as belonging to 3539GT. This chassis number has been listed as being a GTO chassis but obviously it's not ... The real 3539GT doesn't exist anymore."
