Whos off to see the collection of Ferraris at the show?I believe its the best display, with the most on stand so far. Im only going to see the modelson the stand, they are normally gorgeous...
Thanks ric355. The list of cars that will be there look pretty impressive, 250GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, 360CS, 550 Barchetta...
Im going on thursday cant wait to see all those ferraris, cant wait to go taking the camera to get loads of pic's Dale.
For those who are going on Sat, lets try and meet up. Perhaps we could drive in together or park as a group in one area. regards Stewart
Stewart, I'm also going on Saturday. I am planning to leave early as I have to be back in London late..ish afternoon and want to have a chance to look at everything there. Philip
Guys, Unfortunately I am not working at the show this year, however if anyone needs any race equipment or accesories drop by the Grand Prix Racewear stand and ask for "Little Nick". I will ask him to make sure any of you guys will get a deal! Sorry I can't be there, but someone has to man the London store! You are all welcome there by the way! We will always try to help out price wise! Ed
Stewart, In thpught I'd set\ off at about 8 am. I don't know the Toddington services however. If you are up for teh early start then PM me your mobile and we could arrange. Izza, are you up for it ? Philip
Off to look at prams and cots with 'er indoors all weekend. We are going to Birmingham and then Manchester to look at their versions! I refuse to get a Mclaren buggy - even if it is a namesake the principle is the same! I'll let you guess where I'd rather be!! ........sigh...........
Izza, I have been in the same boat looking for prams and cots. She has the last say with them. I am having made a baby seat made for my 348 Spider that sits between the passenger and driver seat. It will have a 4 point harness and go from 0 to 4 years of age. Verdi are making it....
Karl put Sparco's in my 360 so I will have a go at fitting a baby seat on passenger side. Only problem I can see arising is there is no 'baby' section for Schumacher sunglasses. Once that is cured Father and child drive out's will be complete.
Can you fit a baby seat in between the two seats in a 348 ??? I presume you can do the same for a 355 ? Do you need any mods ? (this might have solved a lot of potential problems) Rich
Rich, it can be done because the F355 and F348 have the same lay out. Karl at Verdi is making me a bracket system to allow me to fit a baby seat between the passanger and drive seat. If you have the carbon fibre sports seats it will not be possible since the seats are wider and reduces the gap between the car seats. I have seen this type of system in a 512TR that Karl did. I have a baby seat that will fit on the passenger seat, but that means I can never take the wife out. Having a baby seat in the middle the whole family can go. The seat will be for 0-4 years of age. Give Karl a ring at Verdi.
I'll give him a call. I think my prayers may have been answered today. (Baby due in June and increased pressure to sell the F)
Baby due in March. I was thinking of selling my 348 spyder. But no chance now. What would life be like without my son or daughter not being able to sit in a Ferrari with roof down on a hot sunny day with the tubi howling in the background. looking at the smile on my son or daughters face....
Kenyon, how is baby seat secured? I assume by a new seat belt but can't get a picture in my mind's eye of how it'll work. Tony
