Awesome water spot, Lou. Right after I got out of the service I was driving up to our house on the shore of Siesta Key and as I arrived there was a huge water spout traveling down the beach about 400-500 yards off shore. The sky was black with very loaded clouds and I could hear this thing when I ran into the house to perhaps save my mother who was unaware of the threat. Luckily it past by but the "rain" that followed was like being under Niagara. My mom looked out the kitchen window and yelled that there were fish in the back yard. We had about 8 inches of standing water and there were small fish left by the water spout. Nothing but a water bound tornado.
Shame it wasn't raining down reptiles from that thing. Lou could have started up the "Snakenado" franchise!
