Hey guys, Any of you car techs happen to know the front/rear wheelrates on any number of F-cars? I ask because I'm really curious how stiff the suspensions really are as Ferrari progresses. I've already got the 308 rates from an article on Ferrarichat, but do you guys know the rates of any others? I guess I'm most interested in the 246GT, F40, F50, and the 456GT, but of course any other info would be awesome. Thanks for any help! Mike
Click here: Lowering Ferrari 348, F355, 550 BTW, for those wondering the difference between wheel rate and spring rate, it's covered in my article above, located in the "Parts and Service" link at the top of this page. Generally, Ferrari road car wheel rates are quite soft. Not surprising, engineering is all about compromise, and how is the typical owner going to drive. Of course, quality of the ride rate, roll rate compromise has greatly improved over the years, especially in the last ten. Best regards, Rob Schermerhorn Ps, what's the project?
