hi, I love the ferrari 365 gtc. I woluld like to see a picture of this car on the road. Can you post any pic about this wonderful car? Have you driven this car?Is most fun than a daytona? Thanks......
There's one parked down the street at my mechanic's lot, actually. It's the first one I've ever seen. Pretty cool car, but I have yet to see it in motion.
Are you talking about the 365GTC or the 365GTC/4? The black car in the previous post is a 365GTC/4. They are quite different beasts. The 365GTC was a continuation of the 330GTC, with the 2-cam 365 motor. They were built around 68-69, and are quite rare (as opposed to the 330GTC). The C/4 had a 4-cam motor similar in some ways to the Daytona, but with side-draft carbs and was built in 71-72. They are not so rare (500 built). I think those two cars represent a turning point-- the C/4 was one of the first "modern" Ferraris, IMO, while the 365GTC was one of the last "vintage" Ferraris. I like them both!
Jack, are you saying that there is a 365 GTC in that window? Inquiring minds need to know. I have a serious jones for that car... DrTax
The 365 GTC-4 is known to have the best exhaust sound of the Ferraris of that era. Even better than a Daytona. Some are quite critical of its styling but in red or black with chrome Borranis it looks great to me. I have owned two. The one I have now I've owned since 1989. It is a sweetheart. Not nearly as fast as my Daytona but items such as power steering, adjustable seatbacks, and the exhaust sound compensate. People fear the sidedraft WEbers but once they are set up there are reliable.
The light blue car is a 365GT 2+2, not a 365GTC. A 365GTC looks like this car (this is a 330, but the differences are subtle): http://www.ferraris-online.com/cars/11279/11279a.html
Right, ok, so the light blue is the 2+2 and this one is the GTC. In my photos, I just had them both labeled as 365s.
12325... that's too cool, my 2+2 is 12327! IIRC, they only used odd numbers in those days, so that's the car immediately before mine.
Hi everyone, somebody offered me the Ferrari 365 GTC with the VIN #12047. Was the car for sale some years ago ? Origianly delivered to Italy Best regards Nico
