Has anyone found a substitute oil pressure gage and sending unit to replace the standard units on the 308's. I ues SW sending units when I do Jag V8 conversions but it is a 100psi sending unit. SW makes a more stable unit unlike the stock unit. What do the race guys use? Also if I want to install a gage in the oil filter unit what is the thread size and do they make an adapter I can buy that allows me to hook up a pressure gage and a sending unit. Thanks

Thread size varies. Mine was 12mm, but had a little 'adapter' that had to come out, as you can no longer get a 12mm sender. 18mm fit the hole w/o the adapter. The other size used is 20mm.

308GTS: Altho I could be wrong, I believe the $40 one is the 20mm unit. The 18mm is in the neighborhood of $100.

Unfortunately, I think they are the same internally. Just the thread size is different. Maybe an adapter?
