Am about to remove the pin holding the distributor rotor drive to the cam.

Is the pin directional, or can take out from either side?

How hard is it to get the pin out?

How hard is it then to take the rotor drive out of the cam?

    Many thanks
    rt

I was just playing with one last week, making a distributor machine drive. According to my measurements, it has a straight hole drilled in it, and it accepted a standard roll pin. Be careful, though It is part #108005, and a new one will cost you close to $200!

on my 80 308gtsi NO PIN it is a small bolt maybe 4 mm that holds the rotor in plase.

Mine was a 4mm solid pin that can be driven out from either side, then the gear just pulls off.
