The seller claims it has 25000 miles. But that hemmings ad claimed something else.

I also ran the Autocheck”, and I believe the milage is higher than 25,000 miles.

    Fyi

One can see some dents on the wrinkle paint, so the car may have a few ore miles than claimed.

The cam-covers black wrinkle paint does match the rest of the car colour-scheme, but I was not aware some 412 had their engine painted (?). Also the rubber conveyor do not have the nipple that's usually seen on the 412.

This being said, the early 412 had a specific cylinder head so it is possible the early 412 had an engine that borrowed parts from the later 400i gen2.

My 412 has less than 22k miles and looks similar to this one.

The paint on cam covers is not correct.

No, that paint is NOT original.
This car was born Argento Metallizzato (silvergrey) with a black interior. Completed 24 September 1986. Must have been repainted black.

There is a mistery, how 69,469 (pictured above) could become 25,000?
If it was 69,469 km that's more than 43,000 miles...

    Nice spot !

I really don't see the point in pretending the car has 25.000miles and comes with original paint. A bit more miles and a nice paint-job are not a deal breaker for these fine cars. The seller is spoiling is own listing!

    Good day All,

Interestingly, the latest ad it states "This car has never been offered for sale" which is untrue, as it was advertised last year. Odd to say the least.

    Cheers,

It could be a scam, it is full of spelling mistakes and too many references to the "400" model...
