Not sure if this is the right area to post, didn't see another area for it.

Been in the market for a couple years for a Dino 246 GT or GTS. Prefer dark blue, dark red, gray, silver or black (not yellow, white or red) -- other colors perhaps. Found a nice blue one down at Motorcar Gallery but they want a bit more than I want to pay, so hoping to see what else might be out there.

I've checked ebay, FML classifieds, ferrariads.com.

Anyone know of a nice GT or GT-S available? Looking for a nice daily driver, not a concourse car.

    Thanks!
    Scott

The right place is probably to click the ferrariads.com button and post a wanted add. A lot of people still do exactly what you just did, or end all ther posts with "I'm looking for a xxxx".

Yea I already checked FML many times (i subscribe). There's only 1 GT for sale in there. I really prefer a GT over a GTS. And I prefer black. (See pic!) :)

Price? Up to the $80s max maybe for a GT/S. $15-20k less for a GT. Thats a price for a near perfect one with records, tools, books, etc etc.

Wow, too bad you weren't looking for one back when you couldn't give one away for $9k... You could have bought 8 of them with that budget back then.

    Side question:

(Although IMO they look great/appropriate) did 246s ever come stock with the 5-star wheel style like in the photo of that (gorgeous) black one?

Doesn't mean I still wouldn't ask for a "discount" if I was a buyer (and they weren't stock) ;), but just curious...

I don't think so. Should be a basket mag. But I think there were two styles of those.

The factory racing Dinos had several styles of wheels.

Ferrari never made a 246 model to my knowledge. The now defunct Fiat subsidiary , "Dino" did back in the late 60s early 70s though .
