(Look at their OTHER auctions.) Notice how they stripped all the parts off the engine, and in reality, most likely reduced the number of potential bids from anybody who needs a completely intact engine. Since most 308s with underhood fires usually have a lot burned off the top, those in need probably won't be bidding on this engine either. Unless of course you want to take your chances and try winning a few dozen other auctions in order to get all the parts back that were removed in the first place. What a waste. Add up the sum total off all the bids on all the parts and what do they equal? The guy could have saved himself a lot of trouble if he had simply sold the wrecked car for a few thousand and been done with it.
This guy kills me. He's selling the pressure plate bolts separate from the clutch & pressure plate. And to add insult to injury, someone actually bid on just the bolts. In any event, it looks like he is coming out fairly well except for all the time he must have spent taking it apart and photographing each piece for the auctions.
