Yeah it's a Porsche and a 2.0L at that. Don't freak out I'm looking for a '62 {maybe 63} 250 GTO. But this will have to do for now. Picture was taken on the 1st day I bought it, before I even got back to my house.
All the info on the car and other pictures of it can be found on www.cardomain.com/id/porsche924

At first i thought u were talking about the new CGT :)

Look good already although i dont really like those wheels. The Carrera GT had fuchs wheels no ? Are you going to get them ?

Those wheels were used on the 924 GTR race cars no ?

Some people like the wheels a lot and some hate them a lot. I like them but I need to upgrade to 5 bolt {currently have 4 bolt} wheels. I also need to take advantage of the brake option {known as the M471 option}. This way I can have a better selection of wheels, better braking power and actually take another step towards the final goal {a true 82 CGT replica}. Then it's off to work on the interior and see if I can spruce up the engine bay. Don't worry, this money isn't comming from the Ferrari fund {which is always open for donations}. It depends on which picture I look at for the "Carrera Wheels" I have a lot of Carrera and "knock off" Carrera pictures to decide from. IIRC the Carrera's did come with fuchs.
This is a "real Carrera an '82 I think.

Yes, just get the brake parts from a 944, bolt them on and you're set.

I drive it as much as I can ,I drive about 400 to 600 miles a week for my work ,and i get to come and go from the house a few times a day so I split the driving between my 740 and the Porsche.

Thanks. The only mod I have done is a K&N filter and upgraded BOV. I hope to do some more mods soon, It is really easy to get a lot of HP out of these cars.

Yeah me too, its my third 928, i have owned this one for last five years, there were only 13 made with the manual shift in 1995, most were autos, its so fast and sounds great with a sports exhaust, goin to sell now though as i dont have room for three cars and already have a Pantera, so need to make room for the upcoming f car!!

I want to ask you. I haven't had one. I hear some people say they increase power and make you car sound a little deeper. Some other say it lets more crap into your motor and have no hp gains. I was wondering if you could tell a difference, if any?

There is a slight difference in the lower rpm's it feels like, but not much. I have been seriously thinking about going back to a regular filter.

A few guys I talk with say the K&N filters lets a lot of junk in. I have no clue, maybe they like bad-mouthing products they don't use, but I respect there ideas so I think they speak the truth. If there are no hp gains {or anything else that's deemed a benifit} that you notice, I would recommend going back to stock. Just to be safe.

I really like your website and the detailed information you provide. I do find the black on red colors to be hard on my eyes to read though. Maybe that is just me, and not a general problem???....

    Great job.

Hummmm. I wrote it and corrected the spelling a bunch of times, then added things like pictures and captions. So I guess I don't really read it, just skim. New viewers would have to focus on the text. So I guess I will make it easier on the eyes. Thanks for pointing that out Dave.
    Thanks for droping by.
