Started my 84 QV after sitting in storage for about 5 months and after letting it idle about 5 minutes, started getting a loud squealing noise from engine bay area. As it continued to idle, the noise disappeared a couple of times for a minute or so, than came back. I'm thinking a bearing problem of some sort...alternator, waterpump, or possibly belt tensioner... Anyone else experienced this? Car has 19K miles.

could be the tension bearing on the cam belts or your A/C drive belt. Those are the most common.

A/C will go away as the car warms up.

The alternator/water pump belt is very pone to slip on QVs and makes a loud squeal.
