Being a happy Ferrari and Aston owner, and thinking about the long history, I wonder if anybody knows of a good online resource for tracking the rivalry?

My DB 2/4 is from right about the time when Ferrari and Aston were heating things up roughly 56 the 2 drop heads, the 2/4 saloons. Gosh just the thought of those vintage racers.

DBR1 versus TR...wow...almost bring a tear to the eye.

Now THAT was great stuff! I was born too late...

    Cheers

Yeah, I am too young to have seen the races, but I grew up with my school (hewlett) chum's fathers that owned some of the racers including one db4 zagato. I remember when I would say Ferrari, he would have a fit and go to the garage.

The good old days, the heritage of the two marques are very similar and wonderful stories.

Test: are you from the bay area? You should've come out to our meets / drives. Good fun.

The December issue of Octane magazine has a comparison between a DB4GT and a 250SWB.
