All they had were 550 Barchettas and one lonely Dino. I want some of those 333SPs. where is the next Big Lots?
Same here , went to Bird Road & up in Plantation where I work, zero, only 550 Barchetta. I'll try Flagler St. tomorrow, if I see 333sp I'll get one for you Martin. I need one too.
Visited local Big Lots and picked up yellow 360 spyder & silver F50. They had lots of yellow, red, and black 550 Barchetta's. The other Big Lots in town was supposed to be getting a stock in today...I'll be there tomorrow!
I noticed a Hot Wheels display in a Walgreens here in Tampa the other day. They have Hot Wheels sized versions of Ferraris, including Enzo, lots of them. On close inspection though, the bodies are representative but they've got these huge, oversized tires on them which sort of makes them look comical. However, they were being sold in two packs (mix and match) for something like $2.99. So, if you HAVE to have your Ferrari diecast models, Walgreens is another place where they're available. BHW
Oooo... which Walgrens?? I stopped by BigLots down in South Tampa and picked up a silver F50, yellow 246GTS, red F40, red 333SP, and red 512M. They had a ton of red and black 550 barchettas, but I already have one. I'm looking for some 360s, 355s, and an Enzo. Looks like I'm going to Walgrens tomorrow I agree the quality on these things isn't all that great though. More representative of the 'feel' of the car than an accurate model, especially with the big tires with the offroad tread. But whatever.. for $12.99 each I'm not complaining... -R
The Walgreens I saw these little Hot Wheels models was in Carrollwood, corner of Fletcher and Dale Mabry, the entrance to Carrollwood Village. Thinking about it, these Hot Wheels models may be wind up toys. BHW
I finally found a Big Lots (1 hour away) that had 512M, 333SP, and 246 Dino. My wife thinks I'm insane.
Dear Owens don't worry for your wife. Mine think the same thing about me ... She say I'm Crazy for Ferrari Collection .... NAs if somebody want some Dino 246 Yellow of F512 Red I have in stock .. Any questions let me know ... Ramon Ramirez Ferrari DieCast Collector
Good luck to you guys in Florida finding them. It sounds like you got a lot more at your Big Lots stores than we did, here in Chicago. I went to 3 of them in my area. Found 2 Black Barchetta's and 1 Red 575. Thats IT! Both,my 6 year old son,and I collect both the 1:43 scale,(Little) Hotwheels Ferrari's and the big,1:18 scale cars. We have quite a few of each. He plays with his,(I taught him,"Carefully!") I put mine up on a shelf. So,we normally buy 2 of each. Just went to a big indoor car show here,(Chevy/Vettefest...I have one of those, too.) and found a few more that we didn't have. Check out ALL of the Big car shows. "World of Wheels" Custom car show.(I'm sure that in Florida you must have that show. It travels across the country) And,the regular Auto Show, where they preview all of the new car models for the upcoming year. These shows usually also have Swap meets and various vendors, where you can find Ferrari models ,posters, signs, what have you. Check them out! I found alot of great Ferrari stuff at these vendors. Good Luck!
