legal advice needed

    I am a professional in the process of changing jobs. Upon leaving my current practice an insurance tail needs to be purchased (@100K). The group I currently belong to has a contractual obligation to purchase "an insurance tail." A tail provides indefinate coverage for any future claims after I leave the practice. They are now saying they won't do this and are planning on substituting their own group self insurance that is contingent on the existince of the group and for only a 2 year period. What's the best way to pursue this?

    Rowan: This is not legal advice, but to state the obvious, if as I understand this, there is a contractual obligation to purchase the tail, read that language and see what the penalty is for breach.
