I was about to replace one of my motors when my mechanic told me to try something. When the motor gets stuck-----tap it with a hammer. It worked. I spent some time lubricating the cable , tapping the motor, and working the motor work with the switch. After it was all loose and working consistently, I buttomed up the door. It's worth a try.

Also, loosen the nuts on the cover for the gears. Do not remove them completely. THen insert a small screwdriver between the plate and spray some WD40 in.

Run the motor several times up and down, it will loosen the grease, and make the motor run with less drag.

(I'm assuming the mondial has an arrangement similar to my Dino.)

It made a big improvement in my car.
