I took these pictures several years back at a Chicago event on Marchetti's villa grounds. Beautiful car and I always thought it was a Velorossa (Datsun spider replica), but somebody told me, that this car was a real Ferrari.

So what is it? Did somebody rebody a 250 GTE?

PS: My second post in the vintage forum. And I actually read the last copy of Cavallino. What's going on?

He is a very clever man ... but looses my respect because his company is one of the ones that cut up original Ferraris to feed his 'I want to make a GTO/Testarossa, etc.' fire:

    Pity ...

Tifosi12, The year I attended the Ferrari Fantasia as it was called, the car was there but hadn't been painted yet. Somewhere I have a pic of it. I remember that someone said it was on a GTE chassis. I'll see if i can find that pic.

Does anybody know of a 250 GTO spider conversion for a RHD car?
