    Anyone out there know what the valve timing is on a 500 Superfast or where to get it?

    Bluemel lists the valve timing as follows but I can't be certain it is correct

    inlet opens 27 degrees BTC

    inlet closes 65 degrees ABDC

    Exhaust open 74 degrees BBDC

    Exhaust closes 16 degrees ATDC

    and cold valve clearence .15mm intake, .2mm exhaust

    You can always have a look at the flywheel and see if those numers make since with the ones stamped in the flywheel.

    As per Factory Bld Sheet FOR 6041SA factory designation for SF was SA on build sheet

    D = AA 26/65 S = AA 26/65
    CS 73/15 CS 72/16

    Malcolm, how did it turn out?
    Did you have to alter it to get it to run smoothly at idle?

    Not finished yet, but don't expect any problems - easy engine to tune
