Well, par for the course, while changing out all of the vacuum hoses on my car, an '85 308, the plastic nipple broke off of the cut-off valve ( that round plastic thing located above the clutch housing w 2 large air hoses and a vacuum line attached to it). Does anyone know about what these things cost or if there is a Fiat, GM, etc part which would fit?

Doc, an easy repair is to take the valve out and install a small piece of metal tubing for the nipple. You may have to drill the plastic out a bit to fit the OD of the metal tube plus a little super glue. Or you could even use a part of a plastic vacuum line splice that you can get at any parts house.

Doc, Check GM, late 70's/early 80's. I'm on the road, so I don't have my cross-reference handy.
