    Hello

I have not been on for a while and I ask you for help. I have a 2004 ferrrari 360 convertible Silver/Black ready for delivery at the showroom in Rome, Italy. I live in Miami, Florida and I want to know who changes the cars to US Specs. Also, will customs let me take delivery of the car with Euro plates. I am a Spanish citizen with an address in Europe for registration purposes. What should I do? Thank You.

I remember reading on the DOT website that foreign citizens in the US are allowed to import a foreign car for their use, with much less restrictions that a US citizen. Check there first; you might not have to do a full conversion.

You can temporarily import a euro car with no changes I think for 12 months, but then it needs to be re-exported. For permanent registration here it needs full US DOT/EPA approval.
