Does anyone have photo's of the George Reed garage, RRR from the early 60's? Trying to track history of 250 GT road car and not a racing car. Seems easy to find pics of him racing, but not of cars that came through his company...
The car was "over hauled" by Chaz (or Chas) Pritchard at some point in the late 60's. Does anyone know if he is still around?
Here is his old garage in Homewood, Illinois from the mid 1960's. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago April 2011 Image Unavailable, Please Login
That space is now my office. I was test driving an old Ferrari last night and telling the salesman about the connection. I'm amazed by what google can find.
That's kind of cool....I will take a set of Good Year Blue Streaks to fit 15X7 wheels as soon as you get them in

When I was a kid every few months I used to wander through the garage looking at the cars. He used to keep his personal Ferrari there. If I recall correctly it was an early 60's California that had Nassau Bahamas license plates on it. The roads there are terrible now. I cant imagine what they were back then.
Was anyone able to find contact information for George Reed's family or other contact info for RRR? Also, tx246- what 250GT are you inquiring about? My father's 250 GT was restored by RRR in the 60's.
