    Hey Guys,

im planning a trip to Italy, and one of the things i want to do is tour the Ferrari Factory (or Lamborghini), dependent on time and schedule.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to go about booking a tour? do i have to do it in advance? can i just turn up?

    any comments/experiences are greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

call your dealer. They will send you info. Basically, you give them a three day
window of time that you would be available. They will then tell you what time
    and date you are scheduled.

My wife and I just went in May. It is absolutely fantastic!!!!!

You can also call Ferrari North America and they can arrange a date.

Call either FNA or your local Ferrari dealership. They will send you a form in which you provide all of your contact info, requested dates, and your Ferrari year & model, VIN/Chassis number, etc.

If I remember correctly, the factory is closed to tours during August (Italian vacation month.)

Do you have to have a Ferrari for your dealership to set up the tour, because i may be going to Germany and Italy next summer and DEFINATELY want to go to Maranello.

Last I heard, tours are arranged ONLY for Ferrari owners and their guests. It got to be too much disturbance to allow the general public in all the time.

Lamborghini factory tour is for owners only as well.

It ***** sense that they limit it this way ... otherwise these factories would become huge tourist attractions.
