Anyone have any contact info on who rebuilds or sells a kit for a Daytona steering box in the USA? Too much play in steering and It seems the gears inside may even be grinding a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Roelof's Engineering or GTO Engineering may have the parts for a proper rebuild of the steering box versus just changing a couple of oil seals and a gasket. I have purchase the parts for a 275GTB4 steering box from Roelofs in the past and worked out fine.

Well, “proper rebuilding“ will likely still require someone like you, me or guys at Craig’s shop to actually make it happen.
Just having parts or access to them may not be enough for most owners.

Usually the excessive freeplay is because of worn out tie rod ends, bad wheel bearings and/or bad alignment. Rarely is a steering box worn out unless they run it out of oil. Daytonas are heavy and they eat tie rod ends for lunch.
