    The "other" thread got me thinking, has anyone have "first hand" experience with importing a recent model Ferrari into the USA from Canada? Don't care about anything older than 5 years, please.

    I recently imported a 2001 BMW 540ia M-sport and it was pretty easy, just get the documentation from BMW Canada that the car meets USA specs, swap out the speedo (BMW Canadian cars ONLY read kph, no mph in lower case, or I could have avoided the expense). Paid duty to US Customs...good to go.

    I guess my question is...will FNA be as obliging in providing the necessary documentation? Or will I need to use a Registered Importer to handle the paperwork/documentation?

    Current exchange rates suck...but that could change again...maybe. :)
