Hello Gents, Since I'm a proud owner of a LM I can tell you an easy way to tell if it's real LM. Just check the bar going from 1 schock tower to the other and the bar should flat across and above the waste gate. If it has a hump, well, you know that this is just a F40 with some body mods. The pics in Germany is a LM done after the 13 originals were done by Micholletto. The number 19 (that I had the pleasure to drive) had cantilever rear suspention and is FL. Fell free to check back with me for more info. happy new Year Roland e Linder F40LM
My car was featured in Forza #45 May 2003. I do have tons of pics but I have no ideas how to show them on the chat. just e-mail me and I would be happy to obliged. Regards Roland

Thanks for the info, but this is still WAY above my knowledge, what can I say, I'm just an old racer (53) who has no desire to learn more on PC. I'll ask my brother to take of that tomorrow and in the meantime, I'll kick some some pics by e'mail (I learned that at least) Take care, Roland
Roland...! How's it going, buddy...? How are you...? i hope all is well and that you're having a wonderful holiday season... If you'd like, you can email me the pictures and i'll post them for you... i have a few of my own of your car that i can post... Hope to speak with you soon; take care...
i can say, from first-hand experience, that riding in an F40 LM (Roland's) is quite the thrill... Roland was kind enough to take me for a ride around the track at the Grand Bayou Raceway in New Orleans...
i'm not sure how he fits in there; the seat must be custom... i'm 5'11" and, with a helmet, my head was touching the roof of the car... When we finished the ride, i needed to be shoe-horned out the seat, too... i don't know how he does it...
Watching Roland drive was a privilege, in itself... i'm sitting in this tight seat in an F40 LM that's ROCKETING around the track and he's casually sitting in the driver's seat, like he's on his way to the grocery store... Meanwhile, we're flyyyyying around the track...! It was truly a memorable experience...
The car in the forefront of the above-picture is a regular F40... The one behind it, of course, is Roland's LM...
Hi John, I try to e-mail yoy some pics but i got a message back with error.. Please help... Thanks Roland
DES, I've been in the club for years, seen many F40's up close and personal, but have never been for a ride in one, I am so jealous of you! There has never been an F40 at a track day I've been to. The F40 is still illegal in Canada until next year. Maybe then I can scam a ride in one, or I'll have to come down to the US for a ride. Maybe you can hook me up? LOL
It's truly an awesome car; as Chris Parr once said, "LM" must stand for Linder-Made... Here's a picture of a blurry Roland... Must be all that super fast driving...
LOL...! i don't know about that, although Roland was pretty free about giving riDES to different people... EVERY time he went out on the track, he had someone else in the car...
In the above-picture (that last one i posted), the young woman to the left is Jackie Jouret... Editor-in-chief of Forza magazine...!!! i was RIGHT THERE and i had no idea who she was... That picture pains me to this day...
Roland, As said many times before your car is amazing!!! It was a pleasure meeting you in New Orleans and I look forward to seeing you next year.
