    I replaced the one on the driver side (port) - it was not a fun job on my back under the car for what seemed like hours. Any tips or hints for the passenger side (starboard) short of dropping the tanks out?

    Can you see / reach the hose connection on the tank if you lie down on top of the engine or is it easier from underneath?

    I found it easier from underneath the car. Anything on a TR that is up front is a knuckle-buster to work on or get to. Are you using the cloth braided hose or "normal" fuel hose? Just curious.

    I bought about 20' of the braided hose about a year ago. It was tough to find but fairly cheap if I remember correctly.
