    It is about time we get a cars and coffee event started here in Bend for this summer! I know there are lots of exotic cars tucked safely away in garages....it'd be nice to bring them all together more often than just the Oregon Festival of Cars.


    Time: We could meet one Saturday per month(8AM-10AM) between May and October and maybe if we gain more interest, move to every weekend in the summer.

    Location: Just a few ideas, open to suggestions.
    - Option 1: Westside Starbucks near Safeway
    - Option 2: Coffee shop in the Northwest Crossing area (Little Bite Café I think serves coffee)
    - Option 3: Starbucks near BestBuy on the north end of town. Bit bigger parking lot.

    Drive: Maybe go for a nice drive afterward if there is any interest.


    If anyone is interested or has input/suggestions, I'd love to hear from you!

    I'll bring my Lotus Elise to contribute.

    My understanding is that there already is one that meets on Saturday's at 8AM at Brookswood Meadow Plaza. I found an old ad here, but I recall seeing a recent ad a couple of weeks ago in The Source:

    I confess I've never gone, as I typically have a conflicting Saturday activity, but it might be worth checking out.

    In searching for that ad, I also found this...although again, I've never gone and have no idea if this is still happening:

    Well, as irony would have it, my morning basketball was cancelled today, so I guess I'll give it a try as well. :)

    Looks like the event is no longer happening. I stopped by at 8:30 and left just after 9:00 and no one else showed. Did you end up stopping by?

    Yeah, I showed up around 8AM and stayed until 8:15AM...there was no one there.

    Look like we just missed each other! It is a shame nothing is happening anymore. I wonder if Bend's car culture can't support it or if this event just needs some more marketing.

    Great idea! I'd schedule my visits to Bend around the schedule so I can bring something out. There are some fantastic cars in and around Bend.

    I just moved here permanently from Portland, and was thinking of getting something going. Schedule is kinda tight right now but will show as often as possible.

    I had no idea we had more central oregon locals on F-Chat. I work tomorrow but I'll have to drop by one sometime. My Jalpa is nowhere near finished so I won't have anything exotic to bring for a while. But I can still come and appreciate cars :)

    Don't want to show up at the wrong place.....

    Should we plan to meet at the westside Starbucks by Safeway or the northside Starbucks by BestBuy? Either works for me.
