Hi everyone, Okay, after lots of sole searching I am pretty sure it's time let the GT5 go. There is a condition with it, I want to trade (Tax's) for a 68 shelby, or....sell it for cash to go buy a shelby. Yes I have spoken with the the owner of the 68 posted here, incredibly nice man and car, mine just is not right for him. That said if I sell my car, I may be able to figure out how to buy his. No this is not for kids college fund, this is a personal thing with my Dad. Ferrari will pay for school. Please if you have questions about "how much" I prefer to discuss in PM. I think that should be private between a buyer and seller. Thanks Daniel Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Real GT5 from the factory. Gary Hall did not make GT5's, he cloned them from early 70's Panteras and built some amazing cars, none the less they were clones. There is a huge difference in chassis design, suspension, brakes etc. from and early Pantera to the GT5. They made about 6000-7000 Pantera's from the 70's. Only about 250 GT5's from about 1980 to 1985. I have been challenge trying to get PM's to work or go thru, so please feel free to call if it's easier with inquiries. Thanks Daniel 509-991-4055
Not original wheels. Originally 15", tires were 345/35/15, may have the aspect ratio off but tires are not available until of recently. They are making them again finally but at $850 each.....no thank you. Not to mention it's a short run, so then what? And don't forget there are no correct front 15" size to match available either. I'll stick to the 17's. However, you can still buy the correct Magnesium 15" wheels, and a few sets of tires (Rears only), pickle every thing, or, nah, way to much work.
You might want to PM member LashSS. He has a few Shelbys, and a few panteras. Maybe he'd be interested in a trade.
That's a gorgeous version of the Pantera. What's the value range for something like this now that ordinary Panteras have migrated to the 60K plus range?
They just don't make cars like this anymore! GLWS Do you have any pictures of the interior? I'd love to see them.
Love it, really great Pantera! Engine compartment photo tells the story, just beautiful. Original wheels cost a bundle, but worth the chase to whoever acquires this beauty! Show off the interior in a pic please.

Nice car but I think basic information may be appropriate to post here, like price, mileage, last date of major service, no of owner, all of these are basic sales information that any one calling you will ask. For instance that sale would be interesting to explore but the lack of sale price to know where you head is at makes me think you are looking above the top.
No offense, but your thinking like a Lamborghini/ Ferrari owner. I am one myself, I own a 94 512TR, your questions are perfect and expected. Pantera's don't have a "major service" it's a $25 oil change, maybe $75 cap/rotor and wires. Previous amount of owners? who knows, who cares, I know of 2, The person that traded it to Legendary and legendary. Oh, and me. So 3. Price, no not asking the "top" at all. I said PM me, I think it's no ones business unless agreed by the seller and buyer. Many have pm'd and I have answered, and they don't seem to have and issue with that. If they did have an issue they could have simply posted my $$ range but they have not. That implies to me that they agree.
