    The dummy switch was deleted and a plastic plate installed.
    This was done a while ago. Cheaper for the factory.

    looks terrible though. the factory should spend the extra $3 for the dummy switch.

    Nope, it is the wing mirror defrosting button. Activate and they stay on for 30 minutes. There is a warning light on the bottom/left corner of the dashboard display which based on Ferrari refusing to pay $3 to change things will probably still be there but just not lit.
