Ive been looking on with interest into some of the threads posted by our frinds in the US concerning the output of the motor on the 360 CS.

I read that the motor puts out 420hp...while thats only 20hp more than a stock 360m car, the weight reduction and additional mods makes it a whole different car.

I guess?? anyone have any concrete evidence...Wazza??

When punching my 360 hard it appears fast..I imagine that extra 20 feels like 50hp.

You know.. there is an easy way to test this.... bearing in mind a load of 360's and Wazza's CS will be in one place tomorrow!

Maybe we can finally see that launch control eh Warren?! :)

    Joe,

I think there's a huge difference in FEEL.

Can I substantiate it ? No.
Do I have any concrete Evidence ? not at the moment.

I will once I get it on the track.
I have plenty of data for the 360M and 360C from last year,
so it will be interesting to compare.

If the weather's not to sh1tty tomorrow I'll bring it along for you to
be a passengerr in. Then you can tell me.

But I think I already know the answer.!!

Perhaps the biggest difference, aside from slicks which are a reall, really big difference, is the sterring geometry and suspension. On paper the CS has more power, similar weight, same torque so should give the challenge car a good run in. Driving the Challenge car is certainly more of a race car, harder, even more direct but it needs a track to really tell. It will be very interesting to see the numbers Warren gets.

Wazza, have you asked Peter if you could borrow a logger unit on one of the track days?

    Robin,

I think Joe was looking at the difference detween the 360M rather than the 360C. Which I think is Huge.

But I agree with you that the really interesting comparison will be against the 360 Challenge.

    I've just ordered a Datalogger.
    It's called a DL1.
    It's a new version of the DL90.

    Should be here mid Feb.

It all part of an in-car video and logger system for my race car but i'm sure bits will work on the F.car.

I v'e also just bought a really cool suction kit for fitting a standard
Mini DV camera to the F.car.
The web site for that is

I'll try and have it working for tomorrow.

Not a Chance of using the LC. I think a track only.

Although the "Race" mode will be in use if it's dry.
