    This month's Car and Driver offers a test of the standard SL600 (V12-TT) and the numbers are monstrous for a 4,500lb car.

    0-60: 3.6
    0-100: 8.6
    0-120: 11.9

    1/4 Mile: 11.9 @ 120MPH

    Not bad for $138k, those are pretty much stock F40 numbers there.

    Just amazing what the acquisition of AMG has done for MB the past few years. They're moving so quickly that they're leap frogging their own engines, why buy a much slower SL55 now when this car is available?

    I wouldn't have a big benz as my primary car, the 360 CS will fill that bill nicely, but there is no better second touring/run-errands car on the market than this. It destroys a Vanquish and you even get a convertible hard top as a bonus. Perfect.
