It seems to me that everyone's favorite is the F40, though I am surprised by this, what does everyone prefer of these two? Myself, I think the F50 is prettier and almost as fast, and a NA V12 just feels right in a ferrari Im guessing;)

F50 - flying around with the top off gets my vote over the F40. Plus it's rarer, and IMO looks better. Not that I wouldn't take an F40 given the chance.....but given a choice - F50

From what I have read, the F50 is *****ier than the F40. You end up in the ditch with less warning than the F40.

ive heard that too. Jeremy Clarkson said he would end up killing himself in one and would take a 355 over it. Id have to agree if that 355 was rossofiorano355s 355. I love his car.

For me, i'd take an F50 over an F40... The top comes off, which is a big plus for me and i think the styling of the F50 is so much more aggressive than the F40...

Like Agent Smith said: Given the chance, i'd take an F40, given the CHOICE, i'd take an F50. Well put Smith...

The F50 is my favorite of *all* Ferraris.
And my favorite of all cars except for the McLaren F1.

Jebus that Mclaren is quick! It can turn well too. Too bad there isn't a Ferrari that can match it stroke for stroke. :(

The Enzo could hang until it really started getting up there. That sounds weird talking about a car the enzo cant hang with.

F40 = Cobbled together variant of the 288 GTO and Evolution that looks uglier than the 288 that preceded it

F50 = True F1 derived suspension and glorious motor from the Prost days of F1 plus proper carbon tub. A far better celebration of Ferrari and it's motorsport history.

    No comparison.

Nope, 288 GTO is beautiful while the F40 has a fair bit of catching up to do in the looks dept.

The F50. I like the fact that the F40 is blown but it's not as evocative as the F50 with it's V12 and removable top.

IMHO, Ferrari needs another twin turbo car in their line up, something that you can modify and personalize, maybe off the new platform the 360 sucessor will be based on or something.

There are F40's out there that outperform the Enzo because they are modified. Thye need another car like that to compete with the Porsche Turbos and so forth.

Maybe an "488GTO" or something like that....

Factory upgrades you can have ordered would be cool too, since some people are anti-aftermarket, donno why...
