Last night I went to the Black Tie Tailgate Gala at the Philadelphia Auto Show. The show officially opens to the public today. Overall there wasn't too much there that really excited me. I did see some really neat or interesting stuff though. These included:

-New Maserati Quattroporte (I liked it a lot)
    -Ferrari Enzo
    -Ferrari 612 Scalglietti (Grigio Ingrid/Blue)
-2005 Ford Mustang (Interior is pretty cool)
    -2005 Ford GT
-BMW 645Ci (Looks a little better in the flesh)
    -New Porsche GT3
-New Corvette C6 (I think that they did a very nice job with this one! It looks less like the C5 in person and it's much more compact.)

Also, in the vintage section there is a Ferrari 375 MM on display. The owner lives locally in the suburbs of Philly and was nice enough to lend the car for the show. It looks very original. :)

If I remember correctly there were two actually. One in the lobby and one in the downstairs ballroom. There were definitely two major model car stashes that could be seen so imagine it was two different vendors.

I'm a V.I.P. baby! Actually, I'm not. My dad was given the tickets by Chrysler. :)

Actually, with the Philly Auto Show anyone can go to the Black Tie opening night. They advertised tickets on TV...think like $100 a person though!

You're absolutely right. It is open to the public. I happened to get mine from Chrysler but anyone could have gone. The only regret that I have is that I didn't get there earlier. Josie and I were about 2 1/2 hours late and everyone was tanked! They must have had 40 bars throughout the whole place! :)
