    Bernie Ecclestone has stated that this years Imola GP will be it last. Lets just hope he is blowing smoke up the A$$ of some goverments to get changes in tobbaco advertising.

    I heard that one a year ago and believed it. That's why I went to the San Marino GP while it existed. Well, it is still here.

    Same claim is being made about Zeltweg every other year. However I think we have reached the limit of number of GPs the teams are willing to do this year. With the expansion to new regions and countries, something has to give. And two Italian and two German GPs is just not fair. Besides having been to Imola and other places I have to say Imola is charming but has become outgrown by today's standards.
