Wicked car. Evo4, Car4. Retails for 48,800 pounds (~$73,200). It is capable of humbling a 360 Modena. Early cars had build quality issues, which are now dramatically improved ( a la Car Mag)

Only a 360? This car should/could humble almost anything under 250k.. Shame they don't bring the TVR over.

I'm surprised there isn't more of a market to import and convert these. I guess mechanics would be hard to find. It's definitely an exciting alternative to the usual suspects.

I'm still not sure how / if that car is here legally. Faisal can chime in?

I believe Tako on F-chat, who lives around the bay area has a Tuscan. Which model, I'm unsure.

pretty much every TVR is standing joke in the UK is that they are a collectors car, ie you collect all the bits that fall off, and as for humbling a 360 well yes in a straight line it might well do but get to the corner and oh dear!!!

TVR's were a fine car at around @£20,000ukp where you could live with the legendary unreliability, harshness, dreadful build quality and cart (as in horse and cart) chassis dynamics but at the price no way, as with Dale if I were buying a car for thsi sort of money I'd buy the Noble, still has all the build quality and reliability problems but boy do they go round corners!

TVRs seem great - until you can afford something better (like a 20 yr old 911).

Schatten: Takao is a good friend (he's in Japan now, which is where he had his tuscan). I think he sold it.

Mark: My exposure to TVRs is limited to Faisal's Cerbera 4.5 (which I believe is the only one in the country). The car seems pretty faultless, and he claims it's easy enough to work on. From what I understand, the Malaysian TVR cars are infinetely better from a QA perspective than their blackpool equivalents.
