Zcars WR100: ultimate trackday weapon?

    I've been hearing bits & pieces about these cars every so often, but this is the first time I've found any pics or stats & I can't seem to find any other useful info on the net. It's basically a Lotus 7 replica w/2 Kawasaki ZX12R motorcycle engines, awd, and 2 sequential trannies (1 for each engine I suppose). It looks even more potent than the turbo'd Radical.

    "World record holder 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, as driven by Tiff Needell On BBC2 Top Gear. Car is fitted with 2 yes 2 Kawasaki ZX12R engines and bored to 1300cc fitted with forged pistons and gas flowed heads built by TTS producing 440 BHP and 640 BHP with NOS. Six speed sequential gearboxes, Traction control, 4 Wheel drive, Four pot calipers, Motec engine management x 2 plus Motec Dash Cost £6K, Quaiffe lsd front and rear. Car is 676 BHP per ton and 984 BHP per ton with NOS no road registered car can beat this to 100mph guaranteed."

    The car at the bottom of the page is a Westfield XTR2...check out the totally carbon seats too. Guess ya gotta grow your own padding on your backside to be comfy in those :)

    totally insane! r both engines in front? longitudinal or sideways? love the bottom car too. looks similar but even better than Radical

    Whoa, that would be the car to have at track events for SURE! Can you imagine the sound at redline??

    Ahhhh, thanks for the link Dale! :) I thought the company was called Zcars or something like that as I read about it on the UK Lancer Evo forum. Quite an insane mota :D

    Its a data log or speedo pick up,
    A lot of kit cars now in the uk seem to be doing away with speedo
    cables and put a sensor ring on like a ABS ring for the speedo,
    as far as i know the kit to do this is quite cheap,
