I have another pic of my car. I had the calipers painted RED :)
Mine's loaded, and so am I. Not. Yet. Click "profile" and see... Donington, 1938: durante prove, Tazio investe un cervo. Questa la ricostruzione della Tribuna Illustrata Translation: Donington, 1938: during test drive Tazio hits a deer. This the reconstruction of the Illustrated Tribune Disclaimer: Couldn't find one of a Ferrari hitting a Bull, so I settled for a distant relative of a Bull Elk. Side benefit: With my avatar being where it is in relation to the profile pic, it looks like Schumi is reacting quickly, while his trusty sidekick, Bari - is still savoring the moment.
The Austin skyline sure makes a great backdrop for Ferraris. It also makes a great place to enjoy them year round. It was nearly 80 degrees and sunny yesterday (mid November) so I drove mine to the marina and took a boat ride and grabbed lunch on the patio at Carlos N Charlies. Life is good. Why, yes it is. She's mighty niiiiiiice (especially in person when she's on the kit!) Can't wait to see 'em in a couple weeks........
Austin308, your pic looks like you're looking down over the Colorado River bridge on 360 with Austin CC (Pete Dye course) in the background. Cool... Austin is a great secret (although with the growth it's not much of a secret anymore)!
You guys aren't getting my pic! I don't want to end up photoshopped into "Napolean". LOL Or, worse yet, "Lil' Hitler"! Speedy308 for President! Vote early, and often! I do have a good one of me and Mario partying in a River Oaks swankienda. He brought along about four cases of his new wine. I forgot one unopened in the back of my car. It blew up in the Texas heat the next day!
Well, the Austin guys can vouch for me that Lisa Pankratz is a pretty damn fine drummer. Saw her behind Ronnie Dawson at The Blond Bomber's last Houston show. RIP brother Ronnie. Six feet tall, and she plays her kit barefoot! She's off the list after getting married to Brad Fordham, Kelly Willis' long time base player. I guess they'll raise a tall Texas family with a rock solid rhythm section! How's that for a thread hijack. You guys quit voting for yourself! Must have learned that from Grady!
Gary, Your car looks fabulous. Hopefully I can get a close look at it soon. Distance and weather kind of put a hamper on activities today. Aaaaaahhh, good ole NW weather! DJ
Dan, I'm not even Iranian either, but that's still me at age 6 Hubert- I need you to follow me around, I will say things like 'please cue the sun!' and you will work your lovely magic! Best! Ben.
