    Hey Guys,

Any of you ever work on the rear view mirror. Mine is lose the adjustable part is way too lose. I have seen this problem many times on many diff auto so just wanted to check with the experienced folk before I tear into it myself.

What is the fix, or do I just buy a 300 dollar one from Dennis MCann?

As I recall, the black plastic trim piece will pop off if you carefully pull/pry it from around the edges evenly. Once it comes off, you can then remove the mirror/glass pieces. The trim holds them in.

There may be a way to tighten up the adjustment with those parts removed.

A number of years ago I took the rearview mirror apart on my two previous 308s to clean the mirrors and the inside of the glass covers. Once cleaned and in place, the black trim pops right back on over them.
