    hello Martin,
This is a sad pic but I guess this will open a door to have a "cheaper"
rebuild car...Someone will rebuilt her and sell her again for maybe a few $ less...
    Take care,

Whoooaaa horsey... you mean you're going to have your fingers in that deal as in you're gonna broker a deal for someone else, or you're gonna buy the car for yourself???? Don't leave us hanging :)

Hello. I also had posted this smashed car on the Canadian section of f-chat. This car was or may still be for sale at http://www.ferrariservice.ws/
Ferrari Service of Costa Mesa. A gentleman had quated me $750,000.00. Is that a good deal? :p

    Cheers,

ABSOLUTELY NOT, in my opinion. The car retailed for $700,000 MSRP (or just under that). A crashed vehicle that is being repaired is worth considerably less...

The car needs to be sent back to Italy for rebuilt. A new tub has to be installed which basically will cost many hundreds of thousands of $$$ and some good connections in the F-world. $750K is absolutely rediculous.

I will let you know tomorrow when the deal is done.

Why send it back? Install a tub from Home Depot, some bondo, duct tape, bubble-gum, spray paint..... and........whala.....an e-bay special: "like new, driven by a little old lady on sunday's".

I understand that the car should cost considerably less. This was the price the guy gave me when I asked about some parts. It obviously was higher because he figures I am not a serious buyer. $750,000 or $700,000 big deal. The car is worth alot less in my opinion. Once the chassis number gets out im sure that car will always have a black cloud over it.

Someone had said turn it into an LM car? Now we are talkin' ;-)

Are we certain this is the car which crashed in Tampa back in November?

If so, a lot of what we were hearing (it went straight into a concrete wall,
it went backwards into a concrete wall et.al.) was incorrect.

Looks to me like it either spun and hit something solid drivers right to left or was struck by another vehicle across the bows.

Either way, it is a real shame and if the reports of it being up for sale for the same price it sold for originally, the owner should be called out for that. Of course, there will be someone out there more than willing to pay full price for it. As I understand, Enzo owners sign an agreement with their dealerships
that if they sell the car within one year of purchase, they are obligated to sell it back to that dealer for MSRP.

There's a guy on ebay looking to broker a deal on a "hit hard in front" Enzo. Says the bidding is currently at $155,000. Same car?

Read the Tems of Sale for a good laugh.....

    "Terms of Sale

Car will come with a bill of sale only. (some state vary) but I think You will have to get inspected. You will end up with a rebuilt or salvage title. Payment due in full before I bid. I will refund ALL fund except 50.00 for fees if we do not win"
