So I've been searching the internet and have been disappointed by the lack of quality pics out there of the 512bb (even a look in the Fchat showroom archives came up somewhat short):(. I am preparing to assemble a 1/16" plastic model of a 512 and would love to see as many photos as possible to aid in my project.

    Thanks in advance!

....on with the slowest thursday EVER!!!

    Try looking at this: www.forza.weblobby.com

They currently have 2 512 BB's for sale and some photos.

This may sound silly, but you could also buy the Kyosho 1:18 scale 512BB model and use that as a reference for your own kit. It's very high quality.

thanks djs, those are some great photos on forza's website. One thing that I keep coming across in viewing photos of the interior is the slope on the instrument binnacle; almost as age has weakened the binnacle, causing it too sag.; or is this how they looked from day one??

That car is sharp! Thanks tjacoby for the link. Some very useful shots on the sight. Now the tough part is deciding on colors!
    Thanks again for the link!

Wow, msdesignltd, that car is stunning!!!! You've got to be excited!
The paint looks flawless. Be sure to post some more pics when you get her home :)
I noticed the Isringhausen tab on the rear....growing up in Peoria my friends and I would frequently take the trip down to Springfield and feast our eyes on the latest inventory.
    Thanks for the photos!

Why is it everytime I look at any BBi the space between the rear wheel and the fender lip is SOOOOO big...The rear of the car looks funny to me sitting up that way with all the space in between...Is there a way to lower the rear a bit?? Maybe lowering springs or bigger wheels will help...

Otherwise the car looks great ;)

I think that was a general thing for all European cars of that vintage, due to the headlight height requlations of the day. I could be mistaken. It's not uncommon to find Boxers,308s, even 911s that look like they have a ride height comparable to today's so called "crossover" vehicles.

Curiousely, though, it's usually only the 911s I see with the necessary adjustments made.

Here's a Boxer lowered a bit courtesy of Adobe......

Thanks to everyone for posting pics! I think I've got plenty to help me out.
Now lets see if the model (Fujimi 1/16) comes remotely close to the real deal.
