    Does anyone have an idea of what kind of depreciation my Boxster S will take after having the entire left rear replaced? My insurance co is going to pay me the difference. Thanks for any help

    Contact your local Porsche dealer and ask them to give you a letter stating the diminished value. They should be cooperative.

    Generally speaking at least 20% is a good place to start.

    The escape is probably worth more now that when I got it, here is why.
    1. The brake pds are now properly seated.
    2. No more carbon build up in the engine.
    3. Used enough rubber to effectively rid the tires of the "new tire slickness"
    4. Hard driving set the tranny shifts for maximum performance.
    5. Powder coating of break dust provided a cool contrast to the Red.
    6. After 2700 miles in six weeks, no more bad gas.

    Anyway these are only some of the reasons. Besides, how do you explain the fact that I was able to lay rubber for twice as long as you could in your TT. Maybe you just drive like a BEEEEEEOTCH!!!!!!!
