We all need to see some new photos of your car. I'd love to see it parked next to a silver 360, just to see the difference in the two cars. Gallardo is hard to capture in photos. But I bet if you posed it next to some other street cars.. it might be easier to see its true dimensions
the only pictures I have are here but If anyone brings a camera Tommorrow I'll have at the FDC run. There will be plenty of "F" cars to pose with! Car will only have about 350 miles on it when I get there, and I'm sure I'll play, but not to the max quite yet? http://www.symbolicmotors.com/frames/images/Contemporary/Vehicles/L113/index.html

In the twisties Auto Sport my favorite! The car hugs the road much better than my 996TT did! Just do yourself a favor go test dive one of these incredible cars!
She is gorgeous no doubt!! I believe lambo has introduced a V10 production car because now that they have Audi's money behind them the are looking to get back into F1, also the reason I believe for the Porsche Carrerra GT. Any comments from Allan or other lambo fans "in the know"
Hey BananaBoat... Can you give me some more feedback on your experience with Auto mode. I am not having any fun with that at all. THe shifts are lurchy, it shifts too early - WAY too early. Please tell me what is happening with you in that mode. When is it shifting? Are you needing to give it lots of throttle to keep from shifting on you? Thanks much!
Operator malfunction at the keyboard I suspect? Anyhow YES you have to be VERY throttle aggresive to have sport mode shift at higher rev limits. What RPM exactly I didn't notice I had my head out of the cockpit at the time!
No. Both VW, and Porsche, have no interest in developing either an engine supply program for existing independent F1 teams, or fielding an expensive F1 team themselves. The V10s were chosen for the Gallardo and CGT for their torque output, efficiency, and in the Gallardo's case, 2 fewer cylinders than the Murci to separate the brand. Would love to see either back in the F1 arena, but neither will be doing so anytime soon.
Bernie Ecclestone is urging German car manufacturer Volkswagen into F1. The sport's impresario told this publication that the inaugural Chinese Grand Prix, to be held in Shanghai in 2004, is the perfect catalyst for an VW foray. Volkswagen Group is the market leader in China, said the 73-year-old. He added, 'The growing popularity of Formula One in China shouldn't be an argument for Volkswagen not to get involved.' Of the world's nine major carmakers, only Volkswagen and General Motors are currently not involved in some capacity at the pinnacle of motorsport. Fiat, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Renault, Ford, Honda and Toyota are all in F1. But Peter Sauber, owner of an independently-run team, said with today's economic climate it 'makes no sense' for either GM or VW to contest grands prix.
