    I suppose I was too young when this topic was first discussed back in the late '80's, but now is re-surfacing (and now its caught my attention).

    I wouldn't mind a freely-accessible "paradise"! I'd just like to know what exactly do they want from us in return of this "free association"?

    How do you, fellow Canadians feel about this?

    I'm not canadian, so I won't comment on the article.

    But, I did have my honeymoon at turks and caicos. It was a blast. A beautiful island.

    I do remember it....

    i think they figured out if they joined they would get an influx of fleshy pink nasty quebecers invading every year and decided if they wanted that all they had to do was visit florida
