Thanks for your comemnts on the P4 replica thread, I've kept this away from there as it seems to have taken a twist!

Perhaps you would look at the following site for me and make any comments you think fit.

I'm quite happy to replace with flexible stainless but these guys seem to think that many major manufacturers now use Copper

thanks in advance for your advice :)

    Mark,

Well that site should make you feel better about the Copper use. I guess as long as you have used the Copper Nickel alloy then you are okay.

I guess NZ will have to carefully change it's laws (if they have not already) and maybe this came about from owners using just Copper pipe ... ?

Anyway ... I have been going to your site waiting to see the painted P4 ... guess I'm too impatient ;)

Believe me I'm impatient too, I'm bored to tears, I've polished my 355 (again!) and the Caterham and even my everyday BMW, I've polished all my 1:18th models even cleaned my laptop..how sad is that! Can't wait to get it back to finish it off :)

Don't forget to flare the ends correctly too. I know it's stating the obvious but I didn't and the results were interesting.

Well..If your running the copper nickel line then you have nothing to worry about according to the artical. I was just concerned that you were useing the wrong type of line.

Many thanks for pointing us to the link about the copper-nickel brake line.
