    Hey Doody,
It is a free standing lift made by Autolifters (out of Wichita) you can
put casters and move it if you like! And yes those are reg tiles you
would find in Safeway etc...I just glued them down one by one!!
They hold up pretty good, been a year now..

And thanks again to DJ for the help getting the shop ready for the lift!!

if you don't mind me asking, why did you go with autolifters? i'm researching these things ad absurdium and am currently focused on Revolution or Eagle. autolifters is still on my list, but i haven't been able to find any volume of folks online who owned one.

would love to hear how you got to autolifters instead of another mfg.

    thanks,
    doody.

    Hi 88BLKTR (aka Robert)
This is very cool. What a set up. I have a 91 TR, but no cool tiles (just a rug)and no lift. I think you need to change your userName to "Mr. TR" or "Dr.TR". Looks great have a good time.
    Keep in the fast lane,
    Jim

ready for a tubi, and a few other thing's!! But I will be ready next month
to go on some rides with the f-club..hope to see you!! :)
    Robert

    Texasf355,
Hey thank's, my wife know's where to find me!! It keep's me home that's
    for sure!!

And Doody your question, a good friend of mine has the same lift for about
5 years, and he just loves it!! You can stack cars, it has a two way locking system, feels very safe, and you don't have to worry about bolt's in the cement!! Feel free to post me offline if you have any more question's!!
    Take Care..Robert

    Jim,
So you think Dr TR????....that has a nice ring to it...!! Your car look's very cool, if your ever in the great northwest you will need to hook up with our
    club, lot's of fun!!! :)

    Mr Spyderman,
Well yes you can put another car under the lift, that was one of the reason
I bought that one! It makes my 3 car into a 4 car shop in a snap!!!!..:)

I've had an AutoLifters hoist since 1999. It's a great lift with very robust build quality. As you can see from the picture below, you can indeed stack vehicles - it allows me to put 5 cars in a four-stall garage.

Stop by www.autolifters.com for more details on dimensions to help determine if your garage has sufficient height to allow stacking. Note that you may need to raise your garage door opener (or tracks) to provide additional clearance. My garage was deep enough to allow moving the hoist forward for clearing the opener motor.

Autolifters has an amazing video showing a car on the lift at the highest lock point while they repeatedly rammed one of the lift's legs with a hi-lo. Definitely sold me on their system!

Robert, be certain you re-check the cable adjustments periodically, especially after the first month's use. The cables will stretch slightly, changing the lock points. Safety first!

    Brad
